MINISTRY OF EDUCATION- HIV/AIDS POSTER COMPETITION
St. George’s, Grenada, September 10, 2008_The Ministry of Education in an effort to sensitize students about HIV and AIDS is sponsoring a poster competition for all students. The theme of the competition is “My Behaviour- My Relationship with HIV and AIDS”.
The schools will be divided into primary, secondary and tertiary. Prizes will be awarded for each category. There will be three prizes in every category, which will include personal computers, laptops and cash.
Students will be able to use any medium of their choice and outstanding posters in each medium will be recognized.
The posters should be 8’ x 11’ in size. The best poster will be used to create an almanac for distribution in 2010. The posters will also be displayed at prominent places as part of World Aids Day celebrations on December 1, 2008.
Deadline for submitting posters to the Ministry of Education is October 17th, 2008.
