INTERNATIONAL OZONE DAY CELEBRATION WORKSHOP FOR SCIENCE TEACERS OF SECONDARY SCHOOLS
ST. GEORGE’S GRENADA, Monday September 14th 2009 – MOEPRU – The heads of science departments at all secondary schools are being encouraged to participate in an upcoming workshop being organized jointly between the Ministry’s of Education and Human Resource Development and Finance, Foreign Trade, Energy and Cooperatives.
The workshop is being organised to bring the importance of protection of the Ozone Layer to schools.
The two ministries will hold a workshop for teachers of secondary schools under the theme “Universal Participation: Ozone Protection Unifies the World”.
The Heads of Science Departments at all schools are being urged to participate as the workshop will launch the Teacher and Student Education Modules (Ozonaction education Packs) intended to be used to complement the curriculum in the area of protection of the Ozone Layer.
This workshop will be held on Wednesday 16th September, 2009 in the Conference Room of the Ministry of Finance from 9:00am to 12:00 noon.
