    Grenadian students continue to excel at Midwestern State University.

    Grenadian students earned high honors at Midwestern State University’s May commencement ceremonies.  Tim Elias of Gouyave, a former PBC teacher, earned the President’s Medal of Excellence as well as Summa Cum Laude Honors as the top graduate in the College of Business.  He completed his degree with a perfect 4.0 GPA becoming the fourth consecutive Grenadian to earn this award.  He completed a bachelor of science in manufacturing engineering.     More Scholarship opportunities will soon be available for young Grenadians. This is as a result of a successful meeting held between Prime Minister Dr. The Rt. Hon. Keith Mitchell and a 7-man delegation headed by the Moroccan Minister of Industry, Commerce and Finance, the Hon. Salah Edinne Mezouar. The Moroccans agreed to provide at least three (3) scholarships to Grenadians annually with the possibility of further negotiations for an increase in that number. Additionally, the delegation proposed to grant training in specific areas and provide development strategies that could benefit Grenada. Read More...
