St. George's, Grenada, Tuesday 2 March 2010 - Officials of the Caribbean Food and Nutrition Institute (CFNI), will spend three days in Grenada from Wednesday 3rd to Friday 5th March 2010, updating stakeholders on the project “Preventing Diabetes and other Chronic Diseases through a school-based Behavioral Intervention,” as well as conducting a teacher refresher training workshop.
The CFNI officials will meet Wednesday with representatives of the Ministries of Education, Health, Sports and the Grenada Food and Nutrition Council. They will be updated on the project, examine the challenges and formulate the way forward.

Inclusive Education Officer at the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development Mrs. Gennelyn St. John-John was among delegates from across the world who attended the World “Dyslexia” Forum in Paris.
The Forum took place at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris from February 3rd to 5th. Grenada’s attendance was made possible by the Grenada National Commission for UNESCO, the European Commission and the Secretariat of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States.

The Darmasiswa Scholarship is a programme offered by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to interested persons who wish to pursue (non-degree) courses at Indonesian Colleges/Universities commencing September, 2010.
The one-year programmes are offered in the following areas:- Indonesian Language, dialects, traditional music, traditional dance, and Indonesian craft.

The People’s Republic of China in collaboration with the Government of Grenada is offering full scholarships to Grenadian nationals to pursue undergraduate or Master’s degree in any of the Chinese Universities in the academic year 2010 to 2011.
The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, learning materials, living allowance, health insurance, a once only settlement subsidy and one round trip ticket.
